Bio

Liza Raiser is the Program Manager of Diversity and Inclusion and EEO for Raytheon Missile Systems and is a member of the Diversity and Inclusion Leaders Team across Raytheon’s 5 business units.
Liza leads D&I global integration and growth for Missile Systems sites in the US and around the world through strategic initiatives that support business objectives and execute the missions of both the Vice President of Human Resources and the Corporate Chief Diversity Officer. Liza builds an environment of inclusion across the various locations by managing the operations of 9 employee resource groups representing the needs of a diverse employee base including; women, US Veterans, those with disabilities, LGBTAQ, and persons of color including Asian Americans, Native Americans, African Americans, Hispanic Americans and an employee base that spans 5 generations.
Liza’s previous role was Senior Strategist and Business Operations Manager for Program Health in the Program Management Excellence (PMX) organization. She was the RMS Point of Contact for program systemic issues reporting to the corporate RCET (Raytheon Corporate Evaluation Team). She was responsible for the execution and effectiveness of program assessments: PIA (Program Independent Assessments), Team of Five Assessments and ERA (Execution Readiness Assessments). Since joining Raytheon in 2006 Liza has worked in and/or supported Engineering, Business Development, The Capture and Proposal Center and numerous Air Warfare, Land Warfare, Naval Warfare programs.
Liza has 20 + years’ experience helping executive leaders and middle managers improve the performance of their organizations and effectively manager through change requirements. Her goal is to bring out the best in every team.
As a professional in employee management and development Liza has worked for large Japanese International Trade Companies; (Sogo Shosha) Sumitomo Corporation, Mitsubishi Corporation, Mitsui
Corporation, and the Mexican Banking Industry; Banco de Mexico (Banamex).
In business development she has worked for the Scottish-Malaysian rubber plantation giant Kumpulan Guthrie Berhad creating new business opportunities in Germany, Austria and Latin America successfully negotiating multi-million dollar contracts with the Mexican Government for rubber, derivatives and adjacent market products.
As a broadcast journalist she has worked in radio and television, both on air and in production, in the US, Europe and Mexico; NBC, Deutsche Welle, Nucleo Radio Mil and various print publications and business journals; El Excelsior, The Desert Leaf, The American Chamber of Commerce Magazine, among others.
Education: MBA and BAs in German and Sociology, University of Arizona & University of Phoenix Certificates: GCAA (Global Competence Aptitude Assessment, COA (Cultural Orientations Approach), Cultural Navigator; (IBCP) International Business Certificate Program, Eller College, University of Arizona Master Practitioner: MBTI (Myers-Briggs Type Indicator); Master Certificate in Organization Design, USC Marshall School of Business CEO Program. Languages: English, Spanish, French, German and basic Japanese.
In her free time she supports various not-for-profit programs that benefit women, children and community health and literacy including the Tucson Festival of Books and various art institutions within her home town of Tucson, Arizona.
