Bio

Jeannice Fairrer Samani is a rarity and distinguished Executive leader in
the world of technology. Currently, spearheading the Practicum for the
Masters in Information Technology, Information Networking Institute at
Carnegie Mellon University. As distinguished Senior Manager of
Global Operations for Anita Borg Institute and Senior Professor and lecturer
for numerous universities such as, Carnegie Mellon University, William
Jessup University, and Menlo College Business Management and Tech
Innovation programs throughout the U.S., Africa, Central Asia, and Middle
East. Few have the diverse professional background as a women
technologist, academic, Entrepreneurship, Community/Economic
Development and Telecommunication IT. Jeannice currently serves on the
advisory board of computer science academic advisory board. She has had a
20 year technical career in the Silicon Valley and as an academic and
executive in business.
Fairrer Samani holds degrees from University of California, Berkeley double
BA in Political Economics, Golden Gate University MBA in management and
sustainability, University of California, Masters studies in transportation
engineering and City and Regional Planning, Management Development
Entrepreneurship from University of California, Los Angeles, PhD in Business
Administration, Stanford post-graduate work in business management. She
is currently, pursuing her second doctorate in Business Management-Data
Analytics and Human Behavior from Case Western Reserve University and
Masters in Data Analytics from St. Mary’s College. In addition, she is writing
a book on Managing from the Middle (™): Leadership Building Business
proposed release date Fall 2019.
Fairrer Samani has also serves as a Commissioner and Finance Chair for the
Santa Clara County Board, Certified Mentor for the Cherie Blair Global
Business Women Foundation, Stanford Business Graduate School Ignite
Program, and President Obama’s Department of State Techwomen mentor
for six years, board member and program architect.
