Lt Jared I. Hines is a Contract Specialist at Keesler Air Force Base’s (AFB), where he is responsible for management, procurement and administration of construction contracts.
A native of Philadelphia, PA, Lt Hines is a 2016 graduate of The University of South Carolina, where he earned his commission through the Reserve Officer Training Corps (ROTC) and began his career as a Contracting Officer at Keesler AFB, Mississippi. With two years of Active Duty service, Lt Hines holds a Defense Acquisition Workforce Improvement Act (DAWIA) Level I Certification.
As a Construction Contracting Officer for the 81st Contracting Squadron at Keesler AFB, Mississippi, he was responsible for the 4 person infrastructure procurement team and $14 Million in construction contracts for 81st Training Wing (TRW), Second Air Force, and 4 mission partners.
Lt Hines deployed to Joint Task Force Bravor (JTF-B), Soto Cano Air Base, Honduras, in 2018 as the Executive Officer of the JTF-B Commander.
