Dr. Clarence R. (Reggie) Crane is the Workforce Development Manager, Air Force Technical Applications Center, Patrick Air Force Base, Fla. AFTAC operates and maintains the U.S. Atomic Energy Detection System to monitor foreign compliance with various treaties limiting nuclear testing. The focus of AFTAC’s more than 1,000 professionals is to detect special events in the atmosphere, underwater, underground and in space, to determine if they are nuclear and to report them to national command authorities.
Dr. Crane joined Civil Service in November 2016 when he became AFTAC’s Workforce Development Manager. Prior to becoming a member of Civil Service, he retired as a chief master sergeant from the Air Force in December 2006. After his retirement from the Air Force, he worked as an Organizational Development Consultant for Booz Allen Hamilton. He later founded Next Level Coaching and Consulting, whose core business is organizational communication, team cohesion, and leadership effectiveness. He has done extensive work with government, public and non-profit clients, whose needs included mission-vision-values alignment (organizational focus), team effectiveness, conflict management and other large group events and skills based workshops.
He is the creator of the proprietary Next Level Organizational Communication and Effectiveness Model and the CRANE 5 Part Model to help government executives excel. Dr. Crane’s mission is to help individuals, teams and organizations maximize their potential.
