Rosetta Rolan is a Talent Acquisition Representative/University Relations Recruiter for Newport News Shipbuilding, a subsidiary of Huntington Ingalls Industries, located in Newport News, Virginia. Rosetta is responsible for campus recruiting, diversity conference interviews/hiring, and oversight of the summer internship program.

Prior to joining Newport News Shipbuilding, she spent 6 years in Career Services assisting students with job search, interviewing, and resume strategies. She also spent 12 years working in the broadcast television industry in various roles – Programming & Executive Assistant, Community Affairs Director, and Director of Diversity with a focus on recruiting for the company’s Minority Scholarship & Internship program.

Rosetta earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Mass Communications with a concentration in Public Relations from Virginia Commonwealth University, and her Master of Business Administration from Hampton University.

Outside of work Rosetta has participated on local non-profit boards in the Hampton Roads area including the American Heart Association and the March of Dimes, where she has held a state-level leadership role as Chair, Advocacy & Government Affairs Committee.
