Bio

Rihana currently leads a people research team within the Northrop Grumman Human Capital Analytics organization.
Most recently, Rihana served as a Manager within the Enterprise Information Management & Analytics (EIMA) organization. In that role, she provided thought leadership to senior leaders and business functions on analytics strategy. Additionally, she acted as a project manager leading cross-functional teams of 3-8 members including data scientists, data engineers, and UX designers to deliver analytics capability across the company. Project domains spanned data acquisition, data integration and workflow automation, database development, dashboard visualization, predictive model development, and other creative approaches for making data work for the business.
Previously, Rihana worked as an analyst on the Corporate Strategy team where she designed and conducted analytical research into competitor and customer strategy, comparative business performance, and special analyses on financial, marketing, and product approaches as requested by the Vice President of Corporate Strategy.
Prior to her role on the Corporate Strategy Team, Rihana worked as a competitive intelligence analyst in the Technology Services (TS) and legacy Information Systems (IS) sector in support of priority pursuits, including sector priority wins. She provided on-demand capture support and advised business development and capture management teams on likely competitor moves to inform strategy across the health and civil business.
Rihana joined NGC in 2009 as an Operations Research Analyst conducting military operations research for the Marine Corps focused on optimization, modeling and simulation, and database development.
Throughout her career, Rihana has been very active in ERGs and diversity and inclusion initiatives. She served as NGWIN NOVA Chapter President (2016-2018) and was selected as the 2017 NGWIN NOVA Woman of the Year. She currently serves as a member of the ES/CORP Diversity & Inclusion Council.
Rihana earned her Master of Science degree in Mathematical Sciences from Clemson University and her Bachelor of Science degree in Mathematics from Baldwin-Wallace College in Berea, Ohio where she was a cross-country and track athlete.
