As a Space Exploration Sector Program Manager at The Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Laboratory (JHU/APL), Mr. Patrick A. Hill currently serves as Deputy Program Manager on NASA’s $1.5B Parker Solar Probe (PSP) Mission. PSP launched on August 12, 2018 and recently set world records for flying faster than any man-made object ever and for traveling closest to the Sun. Mr. Hill successfully led the PSP project team through all phases of space system development and is responsible for overall mission success and execution within the project's budgetary and schedule constraints.
Prior joining JHU/APL in 2002 Mr. Hill helped design, build, and test commercial space satellites for Northrop Grumman and Boeing as a structural analyst. Mr. Hill graduated magna cum laude from Tuskegee University with a B.S. in Aerospace Engineering and went on to earn a M.S. in Aeronautics & Astronautics from Stanford University, and a M.S. in Technical Management from The Johns Hopkins University.
