AGU’s Talent Pool programs address the needs of unemployed scientists, students and others seeking employment and professional advancement in the Earth and space sciences. Talent Pool programs also include educational initiatives and support for faculty and staff development at academic institutions. In addition to his supporting role as co-staff partner for AGU’s Diversity & Inclusion Task Force. Dave is also the AGU Program Director for the NSF-supported Inclusive Graduate Education Network Alliance grant. In the coming year, AGU will join forces with the American Physical Society, the American Chemical Society, the Materials Research Society, and the American Astronomical Society to support inclusive graduate admissions practices and cultures in the physical sciences.
