G. Beth Howell is the founder of Valentine Management Solutions, LLC. Beth has 20 plus years of experience delivering strategic operations, human resources, project management and business solutions. Valentine Management Solutions focuses on Cultural Transformation, Diversity, Inclusion, Change Management, Strategic Alignment, and Leadership Training. Beth is a visionary who supports organizations as they culturally transform from good to great using sustainable, positive, progressive, and proactive solutions.

Beth worked at General Dynamics Land Systems (GDLS) from 2006 to 2017 serving as the Employment Compliance Officer for GDLS’ US (global) Operations beginning in 2015. Responsibilities included EEO/AA, diversity programs and recruitment, SOX, I-9/E-verify, background adjudication process, domestic and international contract labor, military/government revolving door, reductions in force, outplacement, and relocation. Beth led the team that developed LS CONNECT, a networking tool, for GDLS’ global workforce and formally introduced Diversity Network Alliances, or ERGs. In her role on the General Dynamics Staffing Working Group, Beth contributed to planning corporation participation at national diversity conferences and presented seminars on networking and diversity.

Prior to working at GDLS, Beth held progressive HR leadership roles at Waste Management. Beth holds Senior Professional in Human Resources (SPHR), Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP), and Cultural Transformation Tools (CTT) certifications. She earned a BA in Psychology from Huntingdon College in Montgomery, AL, and an MBA from the University of New Mexico in Albuquerque, NM. Beth has held numerous leadership positions in multiple Industry Liaison Group (ILG) chapters and continues to volunteer for USAF military spouse related organizations serving in roles which usually have philanthropy as a focus.

Beth has been married to Charles “Chris” Howell, a retired US Air Force Officer, for twenty years. Chris and Beth have four adult children - Blake, Samantha, Matthew and Tiffany. Chris and Beth have hosted several exchange students and Beth currently places exchange students in the community. They enjoy traveling and going where the locals go.
