Bio

Lakisha R. S. Hall is the Director of Watson AI Expert & Delivery Services for North America, Latin America and Asia Pacific. Her team is responsible for the execution and implementation of expert & delivery services for Watson AI offerings – from Solutioning to Delivery. Prior to accepting this role, Lakisha was Manager, Watson Technical Delivery where she managed a team of technical resources that delivered IBM Watson and Cloud Platform expert & delivery services globally. Mrs. Hall has been recognized by clients for her focus on delivering with excellence and agility, and by her leadership for her dynamic management style and commitment to continuously reinvent herself and her team.

Before joining Watson, she held various leadership and consulting roles across the IBM business – from Global Business Services (GBS), Sales and Distribution (S&D), the Integrated Supply Chain (ISC), and the Transformation & Operations division of IBM. In 2015, as Manager, Global Technical Support Services(TSS) Process Transformation, her team was responsible for radically simplifying processes for the Technical Support Services (TSS) business and for enabling the integration of Sales Transaction Support resources from a Quote to Cash perspective. Prior to joining IBM, Mrs. Hall was an IT Consultant at PricewaterhouseCoopers LLP.

With a varied set of skills, Mrs. Hall She has 4 years of experience in large scale Business Transformation and is formally trained in Applied Organizational Change Management. She over 15 years experience in leading large IT deployments, development of IT solutions, and leading technical teams. She is a leader of global teams, a self-motivated problem solver with an ability to manage in a matrixed environment.

Mrs. Hall has a passion for influencing issues greater than herself. Early in her career, she co-authored the web accessibility guidelines for the United States Postal Service (USPS) and has been a speaker on topics such as diversity, web accessibility, skills development and leadership, organizational change management, employee engagement and social items like blogging. For over 20 years, she has been a member of a public service organization, Delta Sigma Theta Sorority, Incorporated where she has held multiple roles like Technology Committee, Vice President and Parliamentarian.

Mrs. Hall has received multiple commendations for outstanding service from clients, and numerous internal IBM awards. Mrs. Hall has been consistently recognized as top Business and Technical talent, was appointed to a Global Women’s Leadership Council – and was interviewed for feedback during the selection process for IBM’s recent Catalyst Award.

Mrs. Hall holds a MBA the University of Tennessee at Knoxville and a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics from Howard University with a minor in Computer Science and a double concentration in Computer Science and Pure and Applied Mathematics.
