Bio

Rick Wilson is a Senior Systems Engineer and Project Manager for Northrop Grumman Corporation (NGC). For more than 20 years, he has worked on various technical projects including the development, design, verification, manufacture and production of engineering products for delivery to NGC’s customer base. His accomplishments have included successful completion of major projects for both aircraft and space systems by managing budgets, schedules and technical design and implementation while maintaining the concepts and methodologies of Process Improvement and Systems Engineering.
Mr. Wilson earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Industrial Engineering from California State Polytechnic University and a Master of Science degree in Systems Engineering from Stevens Institute of Technology. He also completed Certificate Programs in Technical Management, Engineering Leadership and Lean Six Sigma Belt Black Certificate Program from the University of California Los Angeles (UCLA), the University of Southern California (USC) and California Technical University (CalTech), respectively.
Mr. Wilson supports various STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) organizations within the community. He is on the Industry Advisory Board for MESA (Mathematics, Engineering, Science Achievement) that promotes STEM education within the community. In addition, he participates as a mentor for the SEEK (Summer Engineering Experience for Kids) Program that instructs 300 to 700 third to eighth graders on STEM and engineering concepts and education during the summer months of the year.
